Our final morning in Hanoi was a relaxed one. After breakfast, we took one last stroll through the familiar streets, enjoying the sights and sounds of a city that had given us so many wonderful memories. There was just enough time for a final coffee and a little last-minute souvenir shopping before returning to the hotel to collect our luggage.

“One last coffee in Hanoi before saying goodbye to a city we had grown rather fond of.”

“Morning street vendors preparing breakfast as Hanoi gets on with its day.”
Leaving Hanoi
With our last coffee finished and a few final memories of Hanoi tucked away, it was time to return to the hotel, collect our luggage and say goodbye. Our transfer, arranged by Rubicon, was waiting to take us to Noi Bai International Airport. The journey took around forty minutes, giving us one last glimpse of the busy streets and familiar surroundings.

The Journey Home
At the airport, we checked in for our Malindo Air flight to Kuala Lumpur, with Penang as our final destination. The flights home were comfortable and well organised, and before long the sights and sounds of Vietnam were becoming memories.
Until Next Time, Vietnam
And so our Vietnamese adventure came to an end. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the peaceful waters of Ha Long Bay, we had experienced a wonderful variety of places, people, food and photographic opportunities.
We returned to Penang with cameras full of photographs and memories that would stay with us long after the journey was over.
Vietnam, it was a pleasure. Until next time!
